If you need to use an RG 8
type of coax and it is below
500 MHz the Belden RG-214/U
will work OK. Make darn sure
that it has the /U on the end.
I would still try to use the Andrews
super flex where you can (or even
supper flex if it is in the evening)
A bit less loss. Don't get cheap
on your coax (feed line), jumpers or antennas.
Also try to stay away from PL-259
type of connectors when possible.
The BNC type are no bargain they
sometimes cause noise in a system.
Try to use a good clamp-on solder
type "N" when you can.
