What he needs is some guidance! First,the VHF high power PA is 110 watt,not 100. The old style 4 transistor PA is a brute! much better than the more modern 2 transistor version,why dont you want it? If you intend to run just 40 watts,get a 40 watt power amp! The 110 watt does not like to be run at less than 50% power and will generate more heat and chew up more power than the 40 watt. Always add cooling fans to any PA used in repeater service. 73 and good luck!
