It should work, but do not skip on any of the antenna system 
components.  Maintenance on a flagpole site can be a nightmare and very 
expensive.  The last one I got involved in required a crane, man-basket, 
and ended up in an OSHA fine.  This was just to replace some defective jumpers.

Who is going to be responsible for future maintenance work on the UHF antennas?
