Very interesting article! I think I will build one for my 440 repeater..! WAIT!!!!!!! I think I will construct one!

Well, Thanks to Gerald, Mike and of course you Chuck.  It is good to know the old memory is still somewhat lucid!  I should have known to check Kevin's site - it is such a wealth of information.  I looked at the PDF and I wasn't too far off on the date September 1987.  Lasted almost 20 years.  Only replacing the harness and mounting clamps now. 

 

Chuck, somebody on this list is getting old!!  And yes I guess I also have never built anything either...

 

73 to all and have a great Easter Weekend.  My sister and brother in-law are due to arrive here in a couple of hours.  We have an Easter get-together planned so things will get hectic on this end.
