I am looking for someone with technical experience working on the VXR
5000 repeater. I keep having a recurring problem with the power
amplifier. The exciter is working, but no power out of the PA. It was
sent back to Vertex for repair of this same problem, and now it has
happened again. They had written on the repair sheet that they
alligned the Tx Vco, but didn't indicate any parts being replaced.
Does anyone know if the thermal protector indicated in the circuit can
cause this, and if so, does it have to be replaced.
