Sorry for the OT. Have to get another vehicle and with gas prices the
way they are...might have to get something small with good gas mileage
(would love something real big like a Hummer ;-). I have a a wood box
(that goes in the floor board between the seats in my Trans Sport)
with a dual band, another 2mtr radio for packet and a KPC3. I have a
laptop running UI-View in the passenger seat. Also have a inverter to
run the laptop as well.
Looking for websites that might some pics of radio setups. Would be
even interested in hearing about your own setups...and suggestions in
"tight" spots that most newer vehicles have...esp. ones that might get
good gas mileage. Unfortunately it looks like trucks will be out
because I have to fit at least 5 people.
