The first UHF Mobile GE started with was the MC306/MC316 ...
somewhat similar to the Motorola T44 Series; one difference,
GE used a BNC antenna connector.
Seeing as how many installers seemed to have a problem
installing the BNC connector on the antenna feed line, the next
generation of UHF GE mobile radios, Progress Line, used the PL259
connector.
