George, My WACOM catalog is #941. I received it, along with Price List #933, in May of 2000. The company was bought by TX-RX several years ago. TX-RX apparently still has some WACOM product in stock, even though the production line is closed. I see that Hamtronics still lists the WP-639 and similar duplexers as a product.
The reference I quoted was only found in the price list dated July 1, 1993, and not in the catalog itself. The term "BpBr" is generally interpreted to mean "Bandpass - Bandreject" which means that both pass and notch functions exist. Normally, that entails a threaded rod to adjust the pass and a variable capacitor to adjust the notch. If there is no notch tuning capacitor (usually a Johansen air variable capacitor with a small brass cap) then perhaps the notch is fixed during manufacture for a fixed split. Indeed, if there is only the one adjustment, then you should tune it as if it were a notch duplexer- tune fr maximum rejection of the opposite frequency, and accept the insertion loss that results. You might contact Len Pringle at Telewave, Inc for tuning advice. Telewave makes a big thing about having a product lineup that duplicates the WACOM offerings. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY wa2vnv wrote: > Eric, tnx for the reply.
