Then we will see you in 3 weeks.  Will be bringing 2 meter portapeater #2, 
which I'm just finishing off (147.585 in/144.930 out, PL-141.3).

Speaking of which, I've run into one minor snag: I'm interfacing my Kenwood 
TM-G707 to it as a remote base via the 6 pin packet connector (chosen 
because all I/O I need is there: TX & RX audio, COS & PTT).  I assumed the 
TX packet audio input would be pre-emphasized inside the radio, so the 
audio I'm feeding it is de-emphasized (what I call "flat").  However, the 
707's TX audio from the portapeater sounds muffled.  Is there no 
de-emphasis on this audio input even when the radio is set for 1200 baud 
operation, or is there some 2200 Hz LPF for the AFSK tones on that line?  I 
prefer not to run a haywire over to the mic connector if I can avoid 
it.  Thanks.
