I agree with you Kevin, but I'm curious how many of
the repeaters will actually operate over an extended
temperature range, needing the extra cash spent on
"proper" compensation?

We have 4 repeater sites, and they are all in temperature
controlled rooms. In these cases, would you agree that just
netting the ICOMs in their operating enviroment would be
sufficient, using non-compensated ICOMs?
