I have a DB404 that I literally can and have mounted up on the ladder
rack of my full-size Chevy van. Puts the center of the antenna up
about 9 feet up. Not pretty <to most folks> but works VERY well...
And VERY noticeable.
It's a pity Diamond doesn't make a stronger power mount :)
