Subject: Lo Band PA Hello to the group -
Question number 1
I have an extra lo band GE Mastr II mobile PA
and was
looking at a schematic on the repeater-builder
site. I have lost the way to
that particular page. It displayed the final PA
and showed there being a
10 watt driver section. My question is, would the
input to the 100 watt section
of the PA be at or near 50 ohm? I have a 10 watt
output Ricebox that I use
quite a bit on 52.525 and I was going to try to
build myself a little quickie amp.
I would rather tap in at that point if possible
than put in an attenuator to get
the drive down low enough.
Question number 2
A friend of mine has a 440 Mastr II repeater - If
he hooks the local microphone up
on the backplane, his microphone audio is to low.
Is there an adjustment that will
raise his mike audio without affecting the
repeater audio level. It is fine as is.
Thanks to any one who can help me
