You are better off just replacing the board. The transistors tend to be more expensive than a replacement PA and board replacement is easier anyway. You can likely pick up a complete mobile radio for less than the transistors.

Thank you both for your fine suggestions.  Almost fixed. The junction between the PA and output filter board was broken. This was repaired. The Astron bench supply does crowbar at 80 RF watts output at 19 amps, (too high)  Running the RF amp at 70 watts produces one hot and one cold output transistor. All high power joints were resoldered, hoping it was an expansion crack. Zipp.  PA transistor on right side is cold. The number is ACRIAN 4387P1 842141467. I know it should be a matched pair but at this point I might take a chance. Anyone have a beatup amp for parts or a replacement transistor they would be willing to sell me?  Man I hate charity jobs. They always cost me money. You guys ever notice that or is it just me?
