Thanks to all that have responded.
The Echolink group is a little slow in responding to my "moderated"
status since I am new.
Coy, read and re-read...probably something I am missing, but after
hours and hours of reading and hacking...hair is being pulled.
Restarted everything and checked config.s. Ran troubleshooter again
and am still getting;
IP: 192.168.1.xxx
TCP Test: Succeeded
UDP Test (5198): Receive failed (10060).
Tests complete.
I then hit the "next" key and it goes to say;
"Your computer's sound device has several input jacks.
"Which input jack is your PC microphone (or receiver audio) connected to?
There is a little box after this to "choose" the input jack...but it
is blank. You click next and it gives you "Please select an input
connection from the list." and won't let you go on.
You would think that it would still let you connect to the test
server. Again...I just don't get anything from the other
stations...it is just not connecting (see them but can't connect).
Works fine over the WRT54G and Westel modem via the Win2000
machine...just not the Win98.
:-(
