Hello All,
I am finally getting the time to put my UHF repeater together and I
am in need of two items to complete the setup (for now atleast) I have
the rx, tx, amp, powersupply (EF Johnson CR-1010) Duplexers (DB 4072,
huge thanks to John of Maire-Radios for his help with getting them)
large run of 1 5/8'' inch hardline (the hardline is hardcore) now I am
in need of a controller (the stock controller is a POS) and an antenna
(I plan on using a J-pole to test the antenna out at my house but need
something better to mount on the tower)
I am looking for a good controller for under $100, the cheaper the
better! I am sending the channel elements out tomorrow to get
recrystaled and that is running me $70, this project is making me go
broke.
I am also in need of a decent UHF antenna (repeater freq is
444.400Mhz) I would like to get a dipole array but am open to other
options. Here again, cheaper is better!
I am working at the bargain basement price level, so if anyone has
something they are willing to get rid of at a cheap price please let
me know, thanks and 73.
