Hi Bob, thanks for the input. I have one of those here already. Although I think it is behaving for the time being. I just have aquired one of these Standard Repeaters as well as an amp, hoping the amp will come down into the ham bands with ease. I hooked up the repeater, seems to sound ok. Right now it is in the 168 Mhz range in Tx and in the 172 Mhz in the Rx range. Ah if nothing else it will give me something to play with. I can certainly say, over the past year I have aquired a great amount of knowledge. Let you know how it comes along.

Don't know about the amp, but the RPT10 sounds like a VHF unit I was once
given to use for a 2 meter repeater I maintained. The TX was spurious, so
I returned it.
