The TLN46325B will work ok in both the early and later versions of the control shelf. If it doesn't work, there could be a problem in the Station Control Module itself, one of the on-board jumpers need to be changed ... or an associated module on that control shelf. You haven't said what you are trying to do here. If you are trying to build a repeater, just the Station Control Module won't make it work, you'll need a Squelch Gate Module too. If you are trying to build a wire controlled remote base, just the Station Control Module will need to have a Line Driver Module, one of the DC Transfer Modules or a Guard Tone Decoder Module along with either an F1 or a F1-PL Tone Decoder Modules. You need to be more specific as what you are trying to accomplish.
