Decibel makes or made a number of dual band and split
antenna models (split being same - band shared mast).

It's something you are or were able to order off the
shelf although my current DB Prod cat doesn't show it.
Might still be available special order.

The per antenna coupling values were given in the ad
or data sheet. It's not a big problem to same mast
antennas, I see it done at repeater sites all the time.
I just put up a 138-150MHz DB224 last weekend and can
imaging a shared mast 404 combo would be almost 30'
long. That's a lot of real estate to deal with on a
tower.

It's quite a bit cheaper and they do work very well.
Depending on where you live, it can be a pain in the
pazzoo (especially pre internet) to find and purchase
some brands/types of antennas. The Hustler antenna
can arrive UPS, where the DB is probably the more
expensive truck freight.

Don't know if the previous 224E measurement request
was related to the 220 version or the VHF version,
but the measurements for the VHF 138-150 MHz segment
antenna are available from me and on the RB web pages.

cheers,
