I don't know if it's still on the web site, but Decibel used to have a
simple DOS program that modeled the side-mount pattern of omnis at various
spacings and different antenna mounting orientations (like off the apex of a
leg, off a leg parallel to the face, off the center of a face, etc.).  While
it was OK for small-faced towers, it's not great for larger towers where the
horizontal and diagonal members start to behave like parasitic radiators,
converting the Vpol radiation to slant and horizontal pol.  I have a copy of
it somewhere if anyone wants it, just have to find it...
