John,

This is a control station that will talk to several local and not so local
repeaters for emergency service in disasters.

Before I put my tall tower up I had a knock off of a Comet dual band antenna
on a 60 foot tower that covered pretty well. Not the best but it kept me
from having to put up two antennas and feedlines. I would never use one on
my tall tower though. I have several DB-224/DB-410-420's and Sinclair
antennas on it for commercial/Ham use through the transmit multi-couplers.

Paul

I've never seen a 146/220/440 antenna that I would feel comfortable putting
into repeater service.

I have used a Comet GP-15 on 146 MHz & 440 MHz with good results, it is a
tri-band antenna which also happens to work on 52 MHz but I have never used
it
on 52 MHz.
