Neil, The Fleetcom II series radio is the 530 I was talking about, right now I have a 530 and a 559 as my Ham repeaters. I had the 500 foot tower erected in 1998 and they have been working since then with no troubles. In fact they ran on a 60 foot tower for a couple of years before that. The 530 is getting deaf for some reason but for a 25 year old radio that ain't bad history.
