Thanks for the information. Some emails just offered their opinion 
but no source which did not help me. Yours and other emails did! I 
thank Bob Wa1mik for sending me one to use and to identify the 
correct size. Radio Shack around here is usless and very basic. I 
was going to go to a supplier in Melbourne, Florida later this week 
but needed a size to ask for! I can now obtain the correct diddle 
stick to add to my collection and an extra to send to Bob. I did 
have a lot of repair tools and didle sticks here but that was before 
last years hurricanes (2004) that left our home a constructive total 
loss and most of our contents ruined. I have just now been able to 
get back into ham radio after spending 14 months rebuilding our 
home! At least the old cushman and racal counter were in storage! I 
have a home but many here are grandparents and are still living in 
FEMA trailers while they wait to have a new home (manufactured) 
built!
