Gm 300 does have an internal deviation setting (max
dev )on the rf board side of the radio.

R302 -VCO mod being max dev and R164 pot being Ref
(ctcss)

There is also the squelch pot R60.

I do have some mods for bi-level squelch on these
radios that work just as well (better ) than the Micor
repeater bi-level squelch circuits.
