Unless you can find someone out there with a kit, or find both RX and TX modules with the PL kit already installed, you are better off going with an outboard module such as the CS TS64, etc. The kits are NLA at Motorola. I saw a kit on Fleabay, the other day, but I believe it was a DPL conversion kit. The kits are very rare anymore. It involves a programmed chip or two, plus a few other parts, so you cannot go out and make your own.
