The mentioned Motorola MSR-2000 HLD Rreamp slides
into a special slot/space within the pre-selector
cavity/body. Sometimes it's nice to have the
one that fits exact.
One could make a small drop in preamp to fit in
the msr spot, but I'd have to go back throught
check the input and output impedances to see if
the preselector supplies 50 ohms in and out.
Working from memory... one need only swap pins
2 & 3 to make the Micor and MSR-2000 metering
units interchange. I installed a spdt toggle
switch in a metering box and now use it for
both type repeaters.
