Do a Google search and you will find an education in backup battery science....I found the GE supply wont properly charge my sealed lead/acids,so I use an additional float charger with an equalization switch and equalize them monthly.Makes a HUGE difference in capacity and battery life.Car batteries are the worst for backup duty! 73,Lee
