Even as far back as my extensive RC-85 collection goes, I've never seen a Version 2 Software Manual. As far as I know, it was supplied with the prelim Ver 3 Manual, which is what I've always used to program the controller.
It would be more practical to upgrade the controller to Version 3.x with new firmware (both the eprom and eeprom).
