No roof rack on a rental sedan from an airport. No roof rack on my car or truck, besides it would interfere with the roof-mounted dual-band antennas - can't have that.
I could drive my truck to the airport and tie it into the bed; only a few feet would stick out the back. That would seem to be the only way to get it home. I think it would be easier to pay UPS to ship and deliver it. Now I just have to get my friend to put it in a tube and get it to his UPS depot.
