How about a Nene goose wandering into the building, while you're 
sitting on the floor in front of the rack? The goose then proceeds 
to climb into the rack for warmth and you spend the better part of 
10 minutes trying to get it to leave. This at the 10,023 foot level 
of Mt. Haleakala Maui, Hawaii.

(I've also had horses literally look over my shoulder while working 
on an outdoor repeater cabinet in a pasture). The next time I went 
to that site, I brought some apples and made some friends.
