I'm not up on Vertexes, but I thought their stock sensitivity was already pretty good. I do know that their front-end selectivity is non-existent, as someone once put one in service at a local comm. site with no filtering & it got completely destroyed by IMD. One pass cavity on the RX cleaned it right up. No preamp before or after. Bob NO6B Yahoo!
