I own and use one for a few years now....it does require COR...logic 
can be front panel programmable either active high or active low.  It 
does require at least 7 VDC either way for consistancy...5VDC will 
not cut the mustard.  Mine is set up for active high and I am using 
12 VDC COR voltage and she is happy.  I had inconsistant issues with 
+5VDC COR
