Huh-the Motran I had was 8.0 Mhz. And the book agreed...hmmm.
I remember because, in order to get a reasonable amount of bandwidth out
of the rx, I took out the preselector and put in a hamtronics preamp
w/helicals. I found that even with that, I could dial up 146.40 and hear
the NWS on 162.40 just fine-16 Mhz away.
