There is an MSF5000 group on Yahoo, so you might try
posting your question there as well.

Besides a digital-capable controller board, you might
also need to add a wire or more to get/supply a
voltage in/out of the new controller that isn't
normally sent to the RF tray. I don't know the
particulars as I've never done that and have never
played with a CLB. I've seen some people write about
it over on the BatLabs BBS, but I never followed it.
