A little recall Here.  After not believing that Hustler/Newtronics 
wud not sell replacement coils for the G6 144-b I sent another e-
mail and rec'd back a different answer. YES! was this reply, $33.55 
plus shipping. Now thats better.
The aluminum is in gud shape but the lighning hit destroyed the the 
coil. The antenna still had low SWR and no desense but the 
performance fell off. The noticable drop in performance may me 
examine the site and notice the top half of the antenna was missing. 
Found the top half and hopefully will be able to put it all back 
together with new coil and have a spare antenna on ready.
