Actually you can also make it dance through the rear panel
connector. If you change one jumper on the repeater board,
the repeater will decode and encode any combination of (up
to and including) 8 dcs/ctcss codes without additional
hardware. External basic ptt through the rear connector
is only three or four wires (depends if you want audio or
just an unmodulated carrier to measure).

Kind of the long way to go about it but I guess it would
work.

Otherwise I'll program it for free... which does the ctcss
dcs codes.
