Put the remote base antenna lower, and directly below the repeater
antenna. 20-30' should be plenty high enough. And of course, keep the
remote base as far away frequency-wise as possible. Don't use it for
other 144-145 freqs.
I don't really like the idea of a 2M remote base on a 2M rptr anyway.
