6 meters is a very different band and does not always act like the typical 2 
meter repeater band.  It's somewhere between HF and VHF, has some unique 
problems with noise (both manmade and natural).  It takes a lot of perseverance 
and patience to get a 6 meter repeater working well.

When it's all done, there's no band like low band.
