If you're still stumped, e-mail me your codeplug.  I'll load it into a
CDM750 on this end to see if the symptom is in the programming or not.

Nothing is connected to the accy jack, other than a momentary switch to 
connect pins 3 (PTT) and 5 (Gnd) together for testing. The radio is 
transmitting into a dummy load via a double shielded jumper, and the 
supply voltage is well regulated.

I will read the radio tomorrow and make note of the firmware version. 
Will also locate a hand mic or make a test plug to key the radio via the 
mic jack.
