Mike,

The Vertex DXU-B duplexer is a notch-only mobile duplexer that is designed
to cover the 430-455 MHz band. Its insertion loss is 1.5 dB, and the notch
depth is 85 dB at a 5 MHz split. It is rated to handle 40 watts.

If you have a network analyzer or a good spectrum analyzer, simply adjust
the tuning screws on the low-pass side for maximum attenuation of the high
frequency, and adjust the tuning screws on the high-pass side for maximum
attenuation of the low frequency. Don't try to tune for minimum attenuation
of the pass frequencies; the notches will be way off.

Subject: [Repeater-Builder] VXR-5000

Anyone can tell me a simple way to tune a small
 6 cavity duplexer on 448 - 443 for a VXR-5000
Vertex repeater, never done one before. It's a
Vertex Model DXU "B" series duplexer that I purchase
with the VXR-5000, this is the same repeater that I'm
looking CSC CWID 51B information about, still can't
find my manual to do the pinout,

 Thanks for all your help,

  Mike A N1KTD
