As far as receivers go, all three are about the same. However, I probably wouldn't use them for the TX side. I've had way to much trouble with PA's getting hot and melting the solder on the final's collector.

Our club currently has a two meter amateur repeater made from two Motorola-Radius SM-50 mobile radios. We have also aquired a Motorola-Radius Maxtrac 300 (ACD33MJA7DA5BK) and a Motorola-Radius M120 (M33GMC20A2AA). We are wondering which radio to use as the receiver. If you were going to choose a receiver for a repeater from these three models of Motorola-Radius radios, which would you choose and why? Darrell VA7TO Yahoo!
