You will probably need to modify the programming software as described on Batlabs @: http://www.batlabs.com/r100.html You will need to completely align the receiver and transmitter. Your best bet is to track down a service manual. They are NLA from Motorola but show up sometimes at hamfests and on ebay. Yahoo!
