Charlie, Let's be clear that it is the Range 2, 450-512 MHz CDM radios that cannot be programmed into the 70cm band. The Range 1, 403-470 MHz CDM radios work perfectly in the 70cm band, right out of the box.
I should also point out that the CDM1550-LS+ comes in both 16 channel and 160 channel models, in both the Range 1 and Range 2 bands, and in both power levels (1-25 watt and 25-40 watt). The 160 channel models have many more features and signaling capabilities, and are identified by the string "9DP6" in the model number. 73, Eric Lemmon WB6FLY -----Original Message----- From: [email protected] [mailto:[EMAIL PROTECTED] On Behalf Of Charles Mumphrey Sent: Thursday, April 27, 2006 8:45 PM To: [email protected] Subject: RE: [Repeater-Builder] CDM1550LS Program Thanks again to everyone that replied to and viewed my question. We all agree that the CDM1550LS cannot be programmed for use on "Ham" freqs! '73 Charlie Yahoo!
