My repeater just went on the fritz and not sure why or what happened.
It just stopped, so I went to the repeater site. As I pulled in I
heard the repeater just on full transmit.
I took the Motorola Mitrek radio home (30 Watts VHF) and got it on the
bench. The minute you turn it on, it transmits and the squelch is
closed. It's only putting out maybe 5 milliwatts??
It was running only 10 watts at the site with a fan on the heatsink.
Has anyone had this happen to them? It's modified for full duplex and
has always worked up until today. Is there something I should look for?
Are my finals gone?
