Time and materials - you had to diagnose and repair the customer's incompetent "repair" - they need to replace the fuse with an identical one, not a "better" one. They are paying for your demonstrated competence, and if slow-blow fuses were better you would have used them... You used a fast blow fuse to protect their investment. If they don't value the equipment they purchased from you, and paid you to install, they can put a piece of copper rod in place of the fuse (and yes, I've found two of them). Mike
