An out of state friend has a 2 meter Micor base repeater (Compra-station?)
that was recently aligned by a 2 way shop. When he put the repeater back on
the air the receiver operation is now about half of what it was prior to its
recent alignment. He said the receiver works DFQ about halfway out then will
cease receiving. I read awhile back someone experiencing a drastic drop in Rx
performance such as this. He knows the receiver is hearing the mobile
stations well enough but will not repeat, as if the squelch control is maxed
out or
not correct PL injection. Will someone please direct me to this R-B subject
file or suggest a solution for my friend.
