Hi John,
I have had numerous CE15's and they are nice monitors. The freq display is  
simply a digital volt meter off of the vco control line. It is not very  
accurate, just within a couple of meg. I can see the 35khz low if of pagers 
with  no 
problem. The dvm on my current CE15 bottoms out at 003 mhz but the analyzer  
sees down to dc just fine.
