I went back and looked at the schematic again. It appears that we have
2 sets of ORANGE & GREEN wires, and now I'm not sure which ones you are
referencing.
One set is in the main harness, and the other are the individual power
wires. The main harness GREEN goes to Pin 5 of the HEAD and ORANGE goes
to Pin 3 of the HEAD - - - and they ARE speaker wires - - - they are
SPEAKER "IN" to the HEAD. Speaker "OUT" of the HEAD are Pins 31 &
32. So you should be able to connect directly to GREEN (5) and ORANGE
(3) and get SPEAKER audio (providing you are NOT in "PL" mode). However
since these wires are usually pluggged into the HEAD, Pins 31 & 32 might
be a better option. (By the way, HEAD Pins 5 & 32 are connected
together inside the HEAD.)
The individual GREEN and ORANGE "POWER" wires go to Pins 19 & 20 of the
HEAD.
It would be better to get a schematic and determine what you have
because there are some internal jumpers that can change the
configuration and options.
