With over 3,000 readers of this mailing list I'm hoping that someone
knows somebody in the Texas DPS (highway patrol) radio shop.

One of the folks that has donated info to the r-b web site has
come across a Bendix King EPH-5991K handheld. This is one
of the specialty radios that BK made for a specific fleet order
Texas DPS, in this case), and has one big zone of all the
channels, instead of N zones of 16 channels.

He's looking for the programming software for the radios. These
have nothing in common with the regular EPH radios. They
require special software that (according to BK) only Texas DPS
has, and won't program with the normal BK EPH software.

Since the radios have all gone to surplus, and are showing up on
eBay and elsewhere, it would be nice to have the software.

It's a pain to have to program 200 channels through the radio keypad.
