Nate, I was putting in some new speed dials for the autopatch on a CAT-300 a few years ago and had a similar experience. The only solution I found was to go switch the controller into the initialization mode and start all over with the programming. We had a nearby lightning strike that did not damage any equipment, but probably scrambled some of the memory so that when I was trying to program it went astray. It was working just fine till I tried to enter the new speed dials, but after that nothing worked except the initialization. Been working fine ever since, by the way -

I'm not sure if it's the controller or the audio chain (sounds like the squelch is wide open). Yeah, I got '07 heading in the right direction... :-/ 73, de Nate >> -- Wireless | Amateur Radio Station N0NB | Successfully Microsoft Amateur radio exams; ham radio; Linux info @ | free since January 1998. http://www.qsl.net/n0nb/ | "Debian, the choice of My Kawasaki KZ-650 SR @ | a GNU generation!" http://www.networksplus.net/n0nb/ | http://www.debian.org ________________________________________________________________________ Check Out the new free AIM(R) Mail -- 2 GB of storage and industry-leading spam and email virus protection.
