Thanks skip,

I've never really monitored the amps while cloudy but, I'll do that after the
snow melts in a few months. Usually when the weather gets cloudy I get out of
there.....I almost got trapped in an ice storm up there once. I have noticed
that it still charges a bit at night with a full moon and the array seems to
make about ten percent more amperage at 8,000 feet than it did when I tested it
at sea level.
(Less o2 or clearer air??)

  Very nice Steve,

I'd be curious to know if you've noted what the grey/cloudy day
  current from the panels is?
