Thanks skip, I've never really monitored the amps while cloudy but, I'll do that after the snow melts in a few months. Usually when the weather gets cloudy I get out of there.....I almost got trapped in an ice storm up there once. I have noticed that it still charges a bit at night with a full moon and the array seems to make about ten percent more amperage at 8,000 feet than it did when I tested it at sea level. (Less o2 or clearer air??)
